Through various constellations of archival materials, physical artifacts, contemporary art works, and public programming, Borderland Collective’s exhibition Northern Triangle explores the Central American migration crisis currently unfolding along U.S.-Mexico border through the lens of the longstanding history of U.S. intervention in the region. Never with the aim to explain away complications, the exhibition incites unpredictable connections and offers fresh engagements with this humanitarian crisis, its U.S.-made origins, and the realities of its lived effects. Join Erina Duganne—Borderland Collective member and exhibition co-organizer—on a guided tour of Northern Triangle on Saturday, April 9th, 2016, from 8-9pm.
