The English Department at Gonzaga University invites applications for one full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position (3/3 teaching load) in Chicano/Chicana, Latino/Latina or Pacific Rim Literature, beginning fall semester 2017. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in English - ABD considered, with the expectation the candidate will be degree in hand by August 1, 2017; evidence of scholarly potential; at least one year experience instructing college literature; and evidence of superior teaching. Desired Qualifications: Expertise and interest in interdisciplinary teaching (may include contributions to Native American/Environmental/Womens and Gender Studies programs) and developing new courses for inclusion in University Core.
